Will My Barcodes Have a Company Prefix?

For purchases of a single barcode number from us, you will not receive a company prefix (no barcode company can provide this for single barcode numbers).

If you want to make a bulk purchase (e.g. 10, 100, 1000, or 10,000 barcode numbers) we can supply you with a company prefix if you request this from us – this will be part of your barcode number.

If you need a company prefix please contact us to request this, and tell us how many barcodes you require – we will then send you a pro forma invoice and payment instructions.

Please note that if you order barcodes directly on our website you will not receive a company prefix because our website shop system is automated. You will receive barcode numbers that are in sequence (from our database of barcode numbers) however they will not have a company prefix for you. To obtain a company prefix we will need to assign this to you manually, please contact us to request this.

Please be aware that the company prefix length varies from batch to batch, as it depends on a variety of factors. If you order 10 bar codes your company prefix will be one numeric digit longer than if you order 100.
